Metalco-Alupack partners with CBC India to grow its pharmaceutical packaging business

CBC India partners up with Metalco Alupack

CBC India’s Ingredients & Packaging Solutions (IPS) Division has signed an exclusive partnership agreement with Metalco-Alupack, a European manufacturer of pharmaceutical aluminium packaging solutions.

The partnership will support the distribution and market development of Metalco-Alupack's products in India and expand CBC India’s packaging portfolio for the pharmaceutical sector.

Metalco-Alupack manufactures seamless anodised aluminium containers used for chemical and pharmaceutical products, including sterile active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs). The company supplies pharmaceutical packaging solutions to customers in multiple markets and provides regulatory support for its products.

Commenting on the partnership, Mario Bartolomei, Managing Director of Metalco-Alupack, said the agreement will help the company strengthen its presence in the Indian pharmaceutical market. He added, “Together, we look forward to delivering high-quality pharmaceutical aluminium packaging solutions that support product integrity, regulatory compliance and patient safety.” 

He described how CBC India’s industry experience, customer network and market reach make it a suitable partner for expanding the availability of Metalco-Alupack's pharmaceutical aluminium packaging solutions in India. He added that the two companies will work together to supply packaging products designed to support product integrity, regulatory compliance and patient safety.

Durgesh Sharma, Managing Director of CBC India, said the partnership combines CBC India's market presence with Metalco-Alupack’s expertise in aluminium processing and pharmaceutical packaging.

He said, “We are excited to join hands with Metalco-Alupack and aim to unlock new opportunities by combining Metalco-Alupack’s century-long expertise in aluminium processing and pharmaceutical packaging to create sustainable growth together and deliver trusted pharmaceutical packaging solutions across India.”
