Krumbacher appointed as Group General Counsel for Sapa AS

Florian Krumbacher has been named Group General Counsel for Sapa AS. The appointment was effective September 1.
Krumbacher had been serving as interim Group General Counsel since May 2015. He will report to President & CEO Egil Hogna and continue to be part of the Corporate Management Team.

Krumbacher joined Sapa in January 2014 as General Counsel for the company’s Extrusion Europe business area. Prior to Sapa, he held similar positions both in Norway and Germany for Renewable Energy Corporation ASA, ADVA Optical Networking and Compaq. He has also worked as a lawyer at the law firms Linklaters in Munich, and Thommessen in Oslo.
Florian holds a Ph.D. (Dr. Jur.) from the University of Regensburg and a Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree from the London School of Economics, and has the right to practice law (admitted to the Bar) both in Germany and in Norway.
