Jiulongpo district actively works toward the construction of Southwest Aluminum Series project

The Southwest Aluminum Series Project coordination meeting took place on September 20th at the Aluminium City Hotel. The Jiulongpo District facilitated conversations among various stakeholders, including the Chongqing Aluminium Investment Group and Xipeng Town, to engage in comprehensive deliberations over the implementation of multiple projects by Southwest Aluminum. The primary objective of these discussions was to ensure the expeditious advancement of project construction.

Pei Jian, the deputy director of the Standing Committee of Jiulongpo District People's Congress, Yang Lu, the deputy general manager of Southwest Aluminum, individuals associated with the particular class responsible for advancing the series of projects of Southwest Aluminum in Jiulongpo District, leaders from Chongqing Aluminium Investment Group and Xipeng Town, as well as the assistant general manager, deputy chief engineer, and heads of relevant departments from Southwest Aluminum were present at the meeting.

Yang Lu, the deputy general manager of Southwest Aluminum, said, "With the full support and cooperation of Chongqing Municipality and Jiulongpo District, Southwest Aluminum has vigorously promoted the construction of enterprise production and capacity expansion projects in accordance with the relevant work arrangements of Chinalco Group and Chinalco, and its development potential has been continuously enhanced.

Currently, Southwest Aluminum is actively advancing the execution of various tasks in accordance with the implementation plan for a series of new projects. Yang Lu expresses the desire for Jiulongpo District to enhance its assistance towards enterprise series projects, enhance the synergy between land and enterprises, facilitate the execution of land planning and the development of supporting infrastructure, and guarantee the systematic advancement of project construction according to the predetermined schedule.

The meeting attendees were presented with a comprehensive report regarding the progress and marketing efforts of the Southwest Aluminum series projects. The participants engaged in extensive talks regarding the project construction scheme, land element guarantee, road traffic, basic supporting facilities, and other relevant factors. They provided comments, proposals, and solutions for addressing challenging issues in these areas.

“In order to speed up the promotion of major industrial projects in Jiulongpo District, Jiulongpo District has set up ten special classes for the promotion of industrial projects, represented by the special classes for the promotion of southwest aluminum series projects, to concentrate efforts, add measures and vigorously promote the construction of key industrial projects to speed up and improve efficiency.

Southwest Aluminium, as a large-scale central company in the local area, has made remarkable contributions to supporting the national strategy and assisting local economic growth. Jiulongpo District will construct an efficient working mechanism on Southwest Aluminum's series of projects, as well as establish and improve the working mechanism of overall planning and coordination around the entire process and each link of work promotion, in order to ensure the orderly progress of project construction as planned and boost the high-quality development of enterprises.
