
Tankoa Yachts, an Italian builder of steel and aluminium luxury mega yachts, announced that the company will construct a new 50-meter hybrid superyacht called Project 'Elettra'. The company made an announcement on 29 September at the Monaco Yacht Show 2017.

All-aluminium yacht is expected to be launched in 2019. Exterior and interior design will be done by Francesco Paszkowski and Studio Francesco Rogantin respectively. The vessel will accommodate up to 12 guest split between six cabins.
Project Elettra will run at a maximum speed of 18 knots. Aluminium yacht will use power from diesel-electric power plant, which comprises a pair of 1,200hp MTU 8V4000 M54 engines and a 292KW battery bank.
