- AI continues to evolve, with breakthroughs in natural language processing, computer vision, and reinforcement learning. OpenAI's models like GPT-3 and advancements in generative AI have showcased the potential of deep learning in various applications.
2. Quantum Computing Development:
- Quantum computing research and development were progressing. Companies like IBM, Google, and startups were working on building more powerful and stable quantum computers. Quantum supremacy experiments were conducted, demonstrating the ability of quantum computers to solve certain problems faster than classical computers.
3. Biotechnology and Synthetic Biology:
- Deeptech in biotechnology and synthetic biology has been on the rise. CRISPR technology, for gene editing, has seen continuous improvements. Synthetic biology applications range from creating bio-based materials to engineering microorganisms for various purposes, including healthcare and environmental solutions.
