Indian primary aluminum prices inched up 1.7%

The cash price of primary Indian aluminum saw the biggest increase at 1.7 percent for Thursday, May 30.
On the LME, the 3-month price of aluminum rose 0.7 percent to $1,857 per metric ton. On the LME, the primary aluminum cash price gained 0.7 percent to finish at $1,821 per metric ton.
Chinese aluminum prices were mixed for the day. The cash price of Chinese aluminum inched up 0.1 percent. The price of Chinese aluminum scrap saw little movement. Chinese aluminum billet stayed flat. For the fifth consecutive day, the price of Chinese aluminum bar held flat.
