IBAAS Symposium to open its door to delegates on September 26 in Goa, India

Like every year, International Bauxite, Alumina & Aluminium Society (IBAAS) is inaugurating its 5th International symposium (IBAAS-2016) in Goa, India on September 26. The three day conference will host delegates from international and domestic aluminium industry at the venue from 26-28 September 2016. At this crucial juncture for the domestic and international aluminium industry when the growing demand for aluminium is opening up new avenues for aluminium makers and Asia is growing stronger in the upstream sector, the conference is expected to open up innovative ideas, technical solutions and highlight the changes in market dynamics.

The title of this year’s IBAAS-2016 symposium is “Aluminium Industry-The Evolving Asia-Pacific Story”. The event will coincide with a one day theme symposium on “Energy Reduction in Aluminium Smelting”, jointly organized with The Indian Institute of Metals (IIM). The Symposium will provide an excellent opportunity to meet and interact with primary aluminium industries and International experts, scientists, engineers, entrepreneurs, equipment manufacturers, representatives of aluminium and allied industries globally.

Apart from general topics on Bauxite, Alumina and Aluminium, the conference will have special sessions to be coordinated by leading experts from the domestic and international aluminium industry during IBAAS 2016 symposium. More than 250 delegates from all over the world are expected to participate in this International mega event during the Technical Sessions .About 50 abstracts on various aspects of bauxite, alumina, aluminium & downstream have already been received from all over the world.
