Fortuna new tandem dump truck 'ALU CARGO' made of aluminium heavily required for tough construction site

The company, Fortuna that has been known for decades for its innovative, high-quality products, as well as for its proximity to customers in the automotive industry’s new tandem dump truck made of aluminium with a large loading volume and a heavy three-way dump truck is heavily required for usage at tough construction sites.

Fortuna points out the lightweight with the aluminium tipping bridge, Fortuna ALU CARGO for the dump truck series, while farmers have another variant available as a transport solution. According to the manufacturer, it combines a high loading volume, low dead weight, and high stability.

The new Fortuna tandem dumps truck type FTM 200 / 7.5 -ALU CARGO is the combination of a solid chassis made of steel and a tipping bridge made of aluminium. These two materials convinced with their respective advantages such as stability and low weight. With a loading volume of around 44 cubic meters, air-sprung running gear, self-steering axle and tires of 650/55 R 26.5, the dump truck equipped with a 7,500 mm long tipping bridge weighs only 6,900 kg.

The weight advantage resulting from this connection over dump trucks made of steel of the same volume benefit the payload with a permissible total weight of 24,000 kg for this tandem dumper, explains Fortuna. The implementation of additional body lengths made of aluminium is also possible with immediate effect.

The range of uses for trailers in construction site traffic is becoming more and more complex. Fortuna has therefore expanded the Fortuna heavy-duty dump truck, which has been known for years, with a variant of a heavy-duty three-way tipper.

“The new Fortuna tandem heavy-duty three-way tipper type: FTD 200 / 5.2 -HEAVY DUTY- has been specially designed for various transports in construction site traffic, whereas, the trailer can be equipped in different versions,” the company said.
