The aluminium extrusion dies business of Halex Holdings GmbH now belongs to Exco Technologies Limited after the latter paid a heavy cost for accession.
The four most essential manufacturing locations, two in Germany and two in the northern industrial region of Italy are steered by Halex Extrusion Dies.
A declaration from Exco indicates that Halex will still supplement the company’s six remaining extrusion die-casting units, each situated in Canada, Mexico, Colombia, Brazil and two in the United States of America.
Halex is Europe’s second-largest manufacturer and supplier of aluminium extrusion dies. It provides complex forms of extruded aluminium products to the European continent.
The transfer was funded with the help of in-hand cash and reliable bank lines which amounted to €40 million based on the market value of the enterprise.
In turn, Exco contemplates that Halex would probably add €40 million in sales per year. The data would be made available to both the companies in acknowledgement of Halex’s Casting and Extrusion chain.
Based in Canada, Exco Technologies Limited is a global developer, designer and manufacturer of dies, moulds, components, assemblies, and consumable equipment. These tools are accessories to the die-casting, extrusion, and automotive industries.
The amalgamation of like-minded industries might bring some hope for the uncertain market schematics created by the Russian-Ukrainian conflict.
