According to Mahmoud Haroun, the CEO of the largest aluminium extrusion company operational in the Egyptian domestic market, Delemar has publicized that its projects to double its investments in the national market over the upcoming five years and also plans to augment its exports to 40% in 2022, a rise by 20% when compared with 2021.
Haroun further stated, “The Company will begin constructing a factory for processed glass in 2022 with total investments of EGP 750 million following the construction of another factory in the Sixth of October Industrial Zone with an annual production capacity of 600,000 sqm.”
“In 2023, the company is considering doubling the factory’s capacity as well as going public under an initial public offering (IPO) programme in the Egyptian Exchange (EGX).”
“Egypt remains as one of the best markets in the Middle East due to the mega projects that are being built in the country and the economic and political stability it possesses. Furthermore, the government extends incentives for investors in the industrial sector that targets to stimulate the sector’s production, which reflects the interest the state attaches to improving it,” Haroun added.
Delemar is considered as one of the biggest exporters of aluminium profiles in the North Africa region began its journey in 2008, however, the production was initiated in 2012 and presently it is functioning with six facilities.
