Delhi HC dismisses Kunj Aluminium’s plea to use ‘Philips’

The Delhi High Court has upheld an earlier decision of the single judge bench dismissing an appeal filed by Kunj Aluminium Private Limited to use the trade mark ‘Philips’ for its Non-Electrical Pressure Cooker products.
A division bench comprising of Justice Pradeep Nandrajog and Justice Sunil Gaur upheld an earlier order of the Single Judge which held that the Registrar of Trade Marks made a mistake in allowing Kunj Aluminium Private Limited to use the trade mark ‘Philips’ for its Non-Electrical Pressure Cooker products.
