Current Aluminum 3-Month Price Up Slightly

The aluminum 3-month price crawled out of a two-day slump with a 0.9 percent improvement on the LME to close at $2,096 per metric ton. Also on the LME, the primary aluminum cash price inched up 0.5 percent to $2,068 per metric ton on MetalMiner’s daily aluminum price index.
The cash price of primary Indian aluminum weakened by 0.9 percent.
Chinese aluminum prices were mixed for the day. The cash price of Chinese aluminum rose 0.3 percent. The price of Chinese aluminum scrap, aluminum billet and aluminum bar saw essentially no change yesterday.
