Croatia’s import of aluminium tubes and pipes during 2019-21 exemplifies remarkable growth

Aluminium pipe is an extruded product that is extensively used for all types of fabrication projects where lightweight and corrosion resistance is primary concern. Croatia imported 809 tonnes of aluminium tubes and pipes in 2019, which incurred an expenditure of $2.37 million, whereas, in 2020, the import saw a rise in demand by 70.21%, as the import volume scaled up to 1377 tonnes and the expenditure also floated to $3.47 million.

The import of aluminium tubes and pipes for 2021 is anticipated to attain 2052 tonnes, signifying a further rise in domestic demand by 49.01%, while the expenditure is envisioned to stand at $3.36 million.

The major trading nations for Croatia’s import of aluminium tubes and pipes are Bosnia and Herzegovina, Austria, China, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Netherlands, Poland, Slovakia, Turkey, etc.
