
On Wednesday, December 1, Aluminium Stewardship Initiative announced that CPI Ningxia Energy Aluminium Qingxin Carbon Co., Ltd. has joined ASI as the new General Supporter member. With this, the total number of members in ASI comes to 203.

CPI Ningxia Energy Aluminium Qingxin Carbon Co., Ltd. (hereafter referred to as "QXC") is a completely owned subsidiary of SPIC Ningxia Energy Aluminium Qingxin Carbon Co., Ltd. QXC was founded in August 1999 and has approximately 398 million RMB in assets and 420 employees. QXC now possesses two carbon material production lines with a combined capacity of 40,000 tonnes, making it one of China's largest cathode carbon producers with the most diverse product lines. QXC has consistently adhered to the safety management objectives of "zero injuries, zero accidents, zero pollution," and development led by continually expanding technology and innovation, as a national high-tech and innovative company in the carbon sector, from its inception.
QXC holds three national innovation patents and over ten utility patents and was involved in the development of the light metal industry standard for graphite added cathode blocks, graphitized cathode blocks and cold ramming paste. QXC has won nonferrous metal technology awards, Chinese First-class Cathode suppliers, Ningxia Top 100 quality Enterprises, Ningxia Independent Innovation Benchmarking enterprises, and other honorary titles, and the "Qingxin" trademark has been evaluated as a famous trademark in Ningxia on numerous occasions. QXC boasts a 3500 tonne pressure extrusion machine, a Germany Outotec vibration machine, an Eirich cooler, sophisticated automatic batching systems, natural gas baking systems, LWG furnaces, impregnating equipment, and a multifunction milling machine, all of which are among China's best.
