CIAC declares free entry to all attendees after postponement of the keynote conferences and speakers presentations

The Aluminium Association of Canada (AAC) invited representatives of major Companies and Organizations of the international aluminium industry to the first Canadian International Aluminium Conference (CIAC) at the Palais des congrès de Montréal.
The Exhibition will take place on the same date as on October 22nd, 23rd and 24th.

CIAC’s Conferences - Spring 2014
The Aluminium Association of Canada (AAC) adds that at the present time, the aluminium industry is experiencing an accumulation of unfavorable factors. The Current economic situation, both globally and in Quebec, Merged as well with the low commodity price, as well as the current ongoing public consultation on energy issues currently being held in the Province of Quebec Creates a lot of uncertainty throughout the industry. All These factors affected the confirmed attendance to the events. In Regards to the CIAC, as we do not anticipate modifications to the Conference’s program, each of 80 Panelists coming from all continents has been invited to change the schedule date of their participation.
This will enable CIAC to devote them totally to the exhibition to ensure its success. In this regard, CIAC declares free entry for all the attendees. Attendees who might have already paid will be fully reimbursed. CIAC also thanks all the attendees for understanding and cooperation at this crucial hour.
