
As updated by Shanghai Metals Market, social inventories of primary aluminium across eight consumption areas in China, including SHFE warrants, remained unchanged from last Thursday to 1.12 million tonnes as of Thursday, 06 May 2021.

Stocks in Shanghai, Nanhai, Hangzhou and Tianjin increased slightly on Thursday, 06 May 2021, standing at 102,000 tonnes, 270,000 tonnes, 100,000 tonnes and 61,000 tonnes from last Thursday’s inventory of 100,000 tonnes, 269,000 tonnes, 99,000 tonnes and 60,000 tonnes. Inventories of aluminium in Wuxi, Chongqing and Linyi remained unchanged at 427,000 tonnes, 7,000 tonnes and 14,000 tonnes as of Thursday, 06 May 2021.
Primary aluminium ingot inventories in Gongyi decreased by 5,000 tonnes on smaller arrivals. The stocks stood at 134,000 tonnes from 139,000 tonnes on Thursday, 29 April 2021.
