Cash price of primary Indian aluminum jumps on daily index

With a 3.4 percent increase over the past day, the cash price of primary Indian aluminum was the biggest mover on Thursday, August 22.
On the LME, the cash price of primary aluminum increased 0.2 percent to $1,852 per metric ton. The 3-month price of aluminum weakened by 0.2 percent on the LME, settling at $1,902 per metric ton.
Chinese aluminum prices closed flat for the day. The price of Chinese aluminum scrap was unchanged. The price of Chinese aluminum billet was essentially unchanged. The price of Chinese aluminum bar held steady. Following two days of downward movement, the Chinese aluminum cash price held steady.
On the LME, the cash price of primary aluminum increased 0.2 percent to $1,852 per metric ton. The 3-month price of aluminum weakened by 0.2 percent on the LME, settling at $1,902 per metric ton.
