Balco observes ‘World Quality Month’ across its operations through several awareness activities

The iconic aluminium producer in India and a subsidiary of Vedanta Aluminium observed 'World Quality Month' across its operations with various awareness-raising activities for its employees, business partners, and community members.

The activities focused on raising their awareness of the importance of quality and enabling them to become active participants in developing a sustainable quality culture.

World Quality Month is an annual event in which organizations worldwide reaffirm a quality-first approach to their processes while recognizing ongoing efforts to achieve this goal. Based on this year's theme, 'Quality Conscience: Doing the Right Thing,' BALCO arranged a variety of initiatives, including Nukkad Natak, slogan writing, poster making, photography, poem prose contests, and factory shop floor rallies, to ensure ground-level implementation of best quality practices.

Aside from that, the month-long quality awareness campaign was extended to school students to share the importance of ensuring quality in all fields and the methods for doing so.
