Govt. of India “Says Yes” to reinstate the Aluminium Park in Odisha
Dharmendra Pradhan, Union Petroleum Minister, Govt. of India on 21 st January’20 declared that centre has agreed to reinstate the project for the up-gradation of infrastructure at the Angul Aluminum Park in Odisha. Mr. Pradhan expressed his gratitude towards Union Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal for consenting to his request to restart the project. From 2017 to 2020 the UK’s import of aluminium can have been accounted to 15.11 tonnes in total, which amounted to $506 million. The new standards for aluminium scrap metal have been published by China’s market regulator on 19 th Jan’20, elucidating on what materials will be permitted to import in the country from the second half of this year. China is focused to set a target of shrinking solid waste imports to the zero levels by the end of 2020.
