ARABAL 2012 ready to receive 500 participants and 40 Exhibitors

As the launch of the Arab International Aluminium Conference (ARABAL) hosted by QATALUM in Doha from 20 to 22 November draws closer, the Conference Preparatory Committee has announced that the Conference will be attended by over 500 participants and 40 exhibitors. ARABAL 2012 will attract over 120 regional and global companies operating in the aluminium industry or aluminium related products from more than 50 countries around the world.

The Conference Preparatory Committee reports that all preparations and arrangements have been accomplished as per the set preparation plans and the Sub-committees for the participants, exhibitors, speakers and official guests have been formed. These committees will work around the clock before and during the event to ensure efficient workflow and provide every means of comfort for the symposium’s guests and participants.

The Conference Organising Committee will hold a press conference on 19 November with the attendance of ARABAL members. Local, regional and international media will be addressed on the latest developments in the conference program, including speakers, participants, exhibitors, and main activities associated with the conference, and media questions will be answered.

ARABAL 2012 kicks off on Tuesday 20 November at the Grand Hyatt Doha. It will be initiated with a workshop on the London Stock Exchange for metals, followed by a tour to Qatalum’s aluminium smelter in Mesaied Industrial City. The first day will conclude with a reception, sponsored by Qatar Petroleum, and registration for participants will open on the evening of the same day.

Conference days 2 and day 3 will witness discussion sessions and presentations on different topics and areas related to the aluminium industry as previously announced or published in the official website of the conference www.arabal.com.
