Andhra CM hardsells business avenues in the state on Day1 of his China visit
N Chandrababu Naidu, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, India is making the most of his visit to China. On the very first day of his tour on Sunday, Naidu went scouting for investments in tourism, mineral exploitation and infra projects like Visakhapatnam-Chennai Industrial Corridor (VCIC). He began by interacting with the chairman of Hanzhou Dingsheng Industry Group Zhou Xiangai, vice - general manager, Chang Weixin and chief legal counsellor Wang Xiaoqing.

The Dingsheng group, which specializes in the manufacturing and sale of air-conditioning aluminium foil, has expressed their interest in mining and minerals sectors in the Indian state. Naidu asserted that Andhra Pradesh is endowed with rich mineral reserves. He also explained the advantages in investing in the state and the numerous opportunities awaiting the investors there. "We are number two in the ease of doing business and number three in attracting foreign direct investment," he claimed.

Naidu added that Andhra has emerged from being a power deficit state to a power surplus state within a span of eight months. He also mentioned that the state is enriched with sufficient water resources and has skilled manpower that are ready to adapt to new technologies and best practices.

The delegation from Hanzhou Dingsheng Industry Group already visited the Indian state once in April this year and met the industries secretary. Dingsheng is the largest manufacturer of aluminium foil in China.
