ALUMINIUM of GREECE wins awards for its Health and Safety campaign in their production plants

<p>ALUMINIUM of GREECE (AoG), a MYTILINEOS Group subsidiary carried away two awards during the Health & Safety Awards 2016 event organized by Boussias Communications. ALUMINIUM of GREECE is currently Europe’s most modern vertically integrated alumina and aluminium production and trading plant. The award ranks the company among Greece’s leading promoters of health and safety at the workplace. <br /><br />AoG won the first prize for Implementation of the “Health & Safety at work” thematic Consultation with its Stakeholders in the “Alumina and Aluminium Production & Trading” category. The company won the gold award for its “Right Hemisphere” Employee awareness-raising communication campaign on Health and Safety in the “Activities” category.<br /><br /><img style="vertical-align: middle; display: block; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;" src="http://www.alcircle.com/uploads/images/Aluminium%20Of%20Greece.png" alt="News" width="517" height="226" /><br />The thematic Consultation enabled the company to interact with expert scientists, health and safety professionals and representatives of large enterprises and implement their valuable knowledge and experience to AoG’s commitment to the effective management of Health and Safety issues. ALUMINIUM of GREECE was the only Greek heavy industry to organise a dialogue focused on Health & Safety.<br /><br />{googleAdsense}<br /><br />The campaign “Right Hemisphere” aimed to raise the employees’ awareness of Health and Safety issues, by adopting an imaginative and creative approach but not only through technical instructions. The campaign was carried out by an ALUMINIUM of GREECE employees team in in collaboration with the Safety Department.<br />The Health & Safety Awards institution aims to showcase and reward the efficiency of Employee Health & Safety management systems, as well as the leading related practices applied by businesses and other organisations.<br /><br />MYTILINEOS Group is a leading Greek industry active in Metallurgy & Mines and Energy.</p>
