A press update from Reeds Exhibition says representatives from the most important industrial regions- India, China, North America and Europe will come together during the twin events. The fair will connect the international aluminium industry with producers, processors and customers from India in order to initiate investment projects and business relations.

India is currently one of the fastest-growing aluminium markets. The industry is expanding its primary and downstream capabilities and investing in new technologies to meet the growing demand from the energy, transport, construction and packaging sectors.

"Making Aluminium ... Driving Growth and Development" is the theme of the "7th International Conference on Aluminium" (INCAL), organised by the Aluminium Association of India. About 800 aluminium experts are expected to attend the conference and discuss innovation in technologies, market opportunities, downstream perspectives and new applications for aluminium.

International Monetary Fund has forecasted 7.5 per cent growth for Indian economy in 2019.  The Indian government is investing over USD 1 billion in its "Make in India" initiative which is benefitting the aluminium industry. Investments in the country's infrastructure are also on the rise. There is great demand for new technology in Greenfield and Brownfield projects. Experts assume that India's annual aluminium consumption will double to 7.2 million tonnes by 2023.

ALUMINIUM INDIA is organised by trade fair organiser Reed Exhibitions in cooperation with the Indian Aluminium Association AAI.
