Launder Insulating Lids

Launder Insulating Lids are designed for covering open launder passages used in molten aluminium handling. Open launders can allow heat to dissipate and can expose free-flowing aluminium to air, contributing to undesirable oxidation during metal transfer. Covering the launder with insulating lids helps limit these effects during operation.
