Fixed Hearth Furnace

The furnace is generally used for low production and medium production. Their chamber furnace can operate up to 1600°C. These furnaces are usually rugged, refractory-based construction or lightweight ceramic fiberboard and insulation-based construction.

Electric heating elements and gas or oil firing are the available firing options for chamber furnaces. Insulation is used in chamber furnaces to minimize heat loss and accelerate heating. Temperature controllers are a feature of furnaces that help to manage and maintain the ideal temperature inside the chamber.

Electrical heating components used in chamber furnaces to produce heat usually consist of resistance coils manufactured of nichrome or kanthal. Depending on the temperature and procedure, heating elements can be ferrous-alumel-chromel alloys, nichrome, silicon carbide or molybdenum disilicide. They can also be single or bundled wires, rods, coiled coils or strips. These furnaces can be used for hardening, annealing, normalizing, sintering, tempering, stress relieving, preheating etc.

The entire range, size and temperature can be determined by your individual need and requirement. Top opening and multi-chamber furnaces are also made to order.

In order to guarantee consistent results for all samples or parts processed inside, chamber furnaces are intended to offer uniform heating across the chamber. For applications involving a precise temperature distribution, this capability is significant.
