CoverFlux

A-1F is a covering and drossing flux for aluminum and aluminum alloys.

Function:

• Clean molten metal by preventing excessive oxide formation
• Removing non-metallic inclusions from the melt
• Covering, protecting and drossing of Al and its alloys melts during melting
• Preventing oxide build-up on furnace walls
• To improve aluminium recovery from dross

Application:
Application rate of the flux depends on the quality of the melt. Dirty and smaller size scrap will generate more dross require more flux. Clean and large pieces of scrap generate less dross, requiring less flux. Recommended dose for clean charge is 0.50 – 1% of the metal weight.
