Description
A pulse jet dust collector is a dry filtration system equipped with an integrated cleaning mechanism that removes accumulated dust from the filter media without interrupting operation. Also known as a pulse jet collector, pulse jet filter or pulse jet fabric filter, the system typically uses vertically mounted tubular filter bags, though pleated and horizontally installed flat bag designs are also widely used.
Multiple filter bags are arranged inside the collector housing, where particulate matter accumulates on the outer surface of the media, forming a dust cake. The cleaning system removes this buildup by releasing short bursts of high-pressure compressed air into the inside of the bags, causing the dust layer to dislodge and fall into the collection hopper.
