Carbon Anode Butt

We are looking for suitable buyers for carbon anode butts, the residual portions of prebaked carbon anodes used in aluminium electrolytic cells. The material offers minimum 98% fixed carbon, maximum 2.5% sulphur, 1% ash and 1% moisture, with sizes ranging from 120–300 mm. One tonne provides a calorific value approximately equal to 1.5 tonnes of metallurgical coke. It is suitable for producing anode materials, manufacturing anode paste and use as fuel in copper-smelting operations.
