Aluminium Zirconium Master Alloy

Main Features:

1. This product generates a large number of dispersed ZrAl high-melting-point particles in the aluminium liquid. During solidification, these particles act as foreign nuclei to refine the grain structure, thereby increasing the strength and plasticity of the aluminium material or casting and improving the overall mechanical properties.
2. This product is a white block of metal, with a 250g block having a smooth surface and no visible slag pores.
3. The addition temperature is low, resulting in low zirconium loss. Used for adding zirconium or refining grains in aluminium alloy smelting.

Chemical composition:

Zr content: 9~11% Fe <0.3% Si <0.25%

How to use the remainder:

1. Bake dry before use.
2. Adding temperature: >720℃.
3. The amount of this product to be added: Determine it by calculation and testing according to the actual situation.
4. Adding method: Heat to the required temperature, remove the scum and gently add this product to the molten aluminium, stir evenly and let it stand for 20-30 minutes. Stir evenly before pouring.
