The resistance and induction heating systems for multi-part extrusion tools (containers) from IAS are established technologies for temperature-controlled applications in the extrusion industry.
They meet the requirements of modern extrusion presses by allowing both the power and zone heating to be variably controlled. What's more, preheating stations, sealing block heating systems for indirect presses and stem heating systems can be realized using this technology. The heating systems are equipped with a quick changing unit. Innovative temperature measurement with C.O.P.
With its C.O.P. Cartridge (Container Overheat Prevention) IAS is proud to offer a cartridge heater solution with considerably improved overheating protection. The critical problem of overheating at the heating element shaft is now solved thanks to this innovation. Existing resistance heating systems can be easily retrofitted with C.O.P. cartridges – without any modifications to the container.
