Homogeneous melting
The electromagnetic forces produced by MetalLine induction crucible furnaces cause intensive bath agitation due to the technology used. The result is perfect homogenization of the melt and degasification of supersaturated melts. The agitation of the bath also facilitates rapid alloying such that a variety of process requirements can be met.
Efficient, high-performance IGBT technology
For its MetalLine induction crucible furnaces, IAS uses IGBT-based converters as power units. Depending on the furnace size and melting stock, the frequency range can be individually adjusted. Various converter topologies with one or more inverter outputs are available.
