Numerous components made of Drache calcium silicate (DKS 200) are used in aluminium continuous casting and DC casting. DKS200 is particularly suitable for transition and header plates.
Parts made of DKS are successfully used, for example as transition plates for Wagstaff billet casting tables, mould rings for Hycast casting tables and mould plates for Hertwich horizontal casting machines.
