Description
Profiles exiting the extrusion press can be subjected to different types of quench processes, depending on their dimensions, alloy, extrusion speed, and desired temperature. Quench methods:
- Air cooled
- Air and water spray cooling
- Air/water spray cooling and water wave cooling
The entire process can be monitored via PLC, recipe recording can be provided according to mold number or profile code, and it can be easily reused later.
