Nanshan Aluminum starts supplying aero plates to Boeing

Shandong Nanshan Aluminum Co Ltd, one of major Chinese manufacturers of aluminium cold and hot rolling products, supplied its first batch of aero plates to Boeing, the aircraft manufacturer.
In 2016, Nanshan Aluminum signed a contract with the Boeing for the delivery of aerospace-grade aluminium plate to Boeing, taking a key step in accessing the global market. Nanshan Aluminum’s products passed Boeing certification, and the company now become an official supplier in June.

Nanshan, located in Longkou, has an annual production capacity of about 100,000 tonnes of high-end aluminium alloy plates and 250,000 tonnes of aluminium coils and sheets.
