
Italy’s aluminium structures imports increased 20% year-on-year to 38497 tonnes in 2017. The country has been following an upward pattern for aluminium structures import for the last three years.
Aluminium structures export from Italy is slated to witness a significant increase in 2018, after a decline last year.
{alcircleadd}Global export-import data shows, Italy imported an estimated 28740 tonnes of aluminium structures in 2016. The total cost of import was USD 124 million. The country imported an estimated 34425 tonnes of this product in 2017. The cost of import remained unchanged at USD124 million.

The country’s import of aluminium structures is expected to increase 12% to 38497 tonnes by the end of this year. The value of import is estimated to stand at USD 120 million.
Italy exported 65888 tonnes of aluminium structures globally in 2016.The volume stood at 64805 tonnes in 2017, down 2% YoY. In 2018, the total aluminium structures shipments from Italy are forecasted to reach 77365 tonnes.

In 2016, the total shipment value of aluminium structures from Italy was estimated at USD 390 million. The value realization decreased 9% year-over-year to reach USD353 million in 2017. In 2018, the value of aluminium structures export from Italy is forecasted to reach USD477 million.
Most of Italy’s aluminium structures export goes to Austria, France, the USA, Germany, Switzerland, Israel, Poland and Spain among others.
