Bruce Wilson: The key challenges faced in the primary aluminium industry at the moment are achieving zero harm to the workforces, reaching a net-zero target within the next few years, as well as the current geopolitical situation in the region. In addressing this, REEL has embedded a positive safety culture when executing projects and introduced various decarbonization strategies to assist the smelters in achieving their net-zero targets.
