ESTAL Congress 2025

On 1-3 October 2025, The MET Hotel in Thessaloniki (Greece) will become the focal point for the European and international community involved in aluminium surface treatment, by hosting the sector’s leading international conference.

This prestigious event is organised by ESTAL, the European Association for Surface Treatment of Aluminium, headquartered in Brussels. Held biennially, it is a key reference point in the industry, bringing together scientists, professionals, and senior business executives from across Europe.

The 2025 conference theme focuses on sustainable, innovative, and technologically advanced approaches to aluminium surface treatment, structured around four strategic pillars:

• European competitiveness and EU legislative framework
• Innovations in resource efficiency and industrial emissions
• Innovative products and finishing processes
• Surface treatment of recycled aluminium

The event will feature around 20 distinguished speakers, 12 hours of sessions, and approximately 120 participants, making it a unique gathering and a landmark for the aluminium surface treatment industry.
