BIR World Recycling Convention & Exhibition 2026

The BIR World Recycling Convention & Exhibition 2026 will take place from 25–27 October 2026 in Málaga, Spain, bringing together the international recycling and secondary raw materials industry at the FYCMA – Trade Fairs and Congress Centre of Málaga.

Organised by the Bureau of International Recycling (BIR), the convention is a major global meeting point for recyclers, traders, processors, consumers, equipment suppliers, industry associations and other stakeholders across the recycling value chain. Participants from more than 70 nationalities are expected to connect, exchange market intelligence and explore new business and trading opportunities.

The programme will feature high-level plenary sessions, commodity-focused meetings and committee discussions covering key developments across ferrous and non-ferrous metals and other recycling sectors. Industry experts, market analysts and business leaders will share insights into evolving market conditions, trade dynamics, circularity and future industry challenges.

An international exhibition will showcase recycling machinery, technologies, equipment and services, while dedicated networking sessions, lunches and social events will facilitate meaningful business connections.
