Data shows aluminium containers export by Italy to increase in 2018
Italy exported US$506.3 billion worth of goods in 2017, an increase of 10 per cent year on year. The country exports aluminium containers to many countries around the world. Italy’s aluminium container export witnessed a drop in volume and value in 2017. Global trade data suggests that Italy’s aluminium container export will increase in 2018, in contrast to previous years. France is one of the main importers of these products from the country.
According to recent estimates, in 2015, Italy exported 1183 tonnes of aluminium containers, which increased to 1738 tonnes in 2016. The country exported 1449 tonnes of aluminium containers in 2017, down 17 per cent from 2016. In 2018, aluminium container export by the country is estimated to reach 1984 tonnes by December end.
The value of export stood at US$10 million and US$12 million in 2015 and 2016 respectively. The value of aluminium container export by Italy dropped to US$9.5 million in 2017.In 2018, the country is estimated to export aluminium containers worth US$41 million.
The top importers who have been buying aluminium containers from Italy manufacturers and sellers include France, Germany, Mexico, Iran and Netherlands etc. (2017 data).
