Detail

Vincenzo ZINNI, Chief Executive Officer, joined Fusina in 2022 with the acquisition of the plant by Dada Holding and Invitalia. With a background in metal trading, he is managing the group and driving the team to excellence, quality, and reliability.

Under his management and focus, the plant is on track to regain its position in the marketplace. This is the result of a series of new investments and production improvements. Fusina, under its new leadership and ownership, has been able to be considered as one of the best suppliers for marine, road transportation, silos, or defence applications.

AL Circle: What is Niche Fusina Rolled Products S.r.l.’s contribution to the global production of aluminium flat-rolled products? Could you provide insights into your yearly production capacity and how it has evolved over the years?

Vincenzo ZINNI: Fusina's contribution starts with the casthouse with 95.000 tonnes capacity to supply our own rolling mill plants. With our hot mill and cold mill for sheets, shates and plates, our flat-rolled capacity is up to 75,000 tonnes.

Fusina is concentrating on quality and fit to use products up to 2500 mm wide for marine (shipbuilding, offshore platforms), road transportation (tippers and road tankers), silos, structural parts for automotive and general engineering.

Our global position enables us to supply a vast range of industries, including the LNG tanks industry, food packaging machines, firefighting trucks, cryogenic tanks, windmills, land army vehicles…

An open capacity is maintained to supply short-term projects.

AL Circle: How do you foresee the market for aluminium flat-rolled products evolving over the next five years? What key market trends are you monitoring, and how does Niche Fusina plan to adapt to these changes?

Vincenzo ZINNI: Aluminium flat-rolled products will increase in volume. Globally.
