Slitting Line – Foil Series

These slitting line are designed to slit strip in perfectly aligned reels with uniform tension and maximum diameter up to 2.000 mm with independent on the two-rewinding mandrel. 
A pneumatically expandable mandrel is coupled to the spindle of the winder, it is interchangeable with shafts of different diameters depending on the size of the spools. 
The winding of the strip on the right and left coilers it can be done in both directions (from above and from below) depending on the type of material
The coilers have position control with compensation curves for the variation of the tension in according to their position
The use of separating discs is not necessary, thus avoiding additional costs and saving time in the preparation of equipment. Furthermore, not using the separating discs eliminates possible damage to the edges of the slits.
Furthermore, this type of slitter is multi-versatile because it can be used both for longitudinal cutting and as a trimming machine since it can be equipped with different types of quick-change cassettes. The use of interchangeable blade-holder cassettes as well as reducing the costs of the equipment, allows to reduce the time for changing blades: while using a cassette it is possible to prepare the blades on a second cassette off-line that will be used for the new cutting measures 
The cutting cassettes can be equipped with different types of blades: 

• Rigid blades with min. strips 12 mm
• Elastic blades with min. strip 20 mm, available with automatic positioning system.

Strip Thickness Range    10 ÷ 600 µ
Strip Width Range up to    2.200 mm.
Working Speed up to    1.000 m/min.
