Also known as crystalline silicon or industrial silicon, it is mainly used as an additive in colored base alloys. Metallic silicon is a product made from quartz and coke in an electric furnace. The content of silicon in the main component is about 98% (including 99.99% of silicon, which is also included in metallic silicon) and other impurities include iron, aluminium, calcium, etc.
