Description

Magnesium alloy ingot AJ62A is a high-quality magnesium master alloy known for good elongation, impact resistance and reliable performance. It is suitable for applications requiring ASTM-standard magnesium alloy materials.

AJ62 belongs to the AJ series of die-castable magnesium alloys, along with AJ52. These alloys contain magnesium, aluminium and strontium and are valued for their strong creep resistance at high temperatures.

Application:

AJ52 has higher creep resistance, and AJ62 has better castability. Both are used in the BMW magnesium–aluminum composite engine block
