Description
Scot-Modalloy-Boron waffles is an excellent additive for Aluminium conductor grade rods and wires for improving conductivity and grain refinement. The boron addition helps in precipitating detrimental elements like V, Ti, etc. in turn affect the conductivity. Further, the addition also help in improving the grain size, without the use of Titanium.
Scot-Modalloy-Boron contains usually 3%-8% Boron which improves the metallurgical properties of the cast along with the enhancement in conductivity.
