Sun Metal is a well-established, profitable and growing ferrous and non-ferrous metals business in Nigeria. It received the prestigious NIS (Standards Organization of Nigeria) Award and also obtained ISO 9001:2000 certification from SANAS. Sun Metals exports its non-ferrous metal production to developed countries like Japan, Hong Kong and recognized brand clients like Toyota, Nissan, Mitsubishi, Alconix corporation and Honda.
Our non-ferrous product offerings include aluminium ingots of various grades, lead ingots and copper billets. Our Aluminium plant is fitted with Hydraulic Tilting/Skelner furnaces with a total installed capacity capable of producing over 28,800 metric tonnes per annum. Our lead and copper plants have an installed capacity of 6,400 and 7,500 tonnes per annum respectively. Sun Metals also operates one of largest steel rolling mills in Nigeria, producing MS billets and deformed rebars ranging from 8mm to 30mm with a combined installed capacity of 250,000 tonnes per annum. With our state-of-the-art laboratory equipment and highly qualified and experienced technicians, Sun Metal is able to meet international standards, guaranteeing customer satisfaction.
