Founded in 2006, AlGalCo (Aluminum-Gallium Company) is at the forefront of hydrogen innovation with the exclusive license to commercialize a patented breakthrough technology that generates hydrogen on demand. The process is simple yet revolutionary—just add water to a solid alloy composed of over 90% common aluminium, and hydrogen is instantly produced.

Unlike traditional hydrogen production methods that rely on high-pressure containers and pipelines, AlGalCo's process is safe, efficient, and sustainable. The alloy can be stored under standard temperature and pressure and, after use, the spent material (alumina) can be fully recycled into the original alloy using well-established aluminium industry techniques—ensuring a closed-loop, eco-friendly solution.

AlGalCo's Hydrogen on Tap™ system, developed in collaboration with Purdue University, is already being used by municipal and commercial fleet vehicles under green energy initiatives.
