PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:

This kind of flux is a granulated mild exothermic flux used in reverberatory & all other types.

of furnaces. It's a mixture of sodium chloride and potassium chloride and heat-generating

chloride compound. These materials produce a low melting point that effectively separates

aluminium oxides from liquid metal.

APPLICATION METHOD:

1. After charging, spread the flux evenly over the surface of the melt.

2. Stir the flux into the melt using a proper mixing tool. Stir the dross without disturbing the liquid metal to avoid reintroducing metal to the dross.

3. Let it stand for 3-4 minutes.

4. When the dross is light and dry, carefully remove it from the furnace using a coated skimming tool. Take care to not disturb the melt.

BENEFIT:

1. Removes non-metallic inclusions, aluminium oxide as well.

2. Less dust than powder fluxes when applied to meet the environment requirement.

3. Get dry and powdery dross and reduce metal loss.
