The ultra-high power graphite electrode is produced by high grade needle coke, and its gravitational heat treatment is carried out in the inner series graphitization furnace. The graphitization temperature is up to 2800 ~ 3000℃, so the resistivity is lower, allowing through a larger current density, the linear expansion coefficient is smaller, with excellent thermal shock resistance.
The joint quality of ultra-high power graphite electrode is particularly important. The resistivity and linear expansion coefficient of the joint blank must keep a certain difference with the electrode body, and the quality of the joint is better than that of the electrode body.
