Description

Aluminium conductor steel reinforced (ACSR) conductor are a type of stranded wire commonly used in overhead power lines. They feature a steel core that provides strength, surrounded by layers of aluminium for excellent conductivity. This combination offers a balance of high tensile strength and low electrical resistance, making ACSR a durable and efficient choice for power transmission.

Material: Their ACSR are manufactured from EC-grade aluminium and steel.

Standards: Their ACSR conforms to IS198 (II, V).

Strand Configuration: They manufacture ACSR in various strand configurations, which include 7, 19, 37 and 61.

Packaging: Their ACSR are packaged in drums.
