How It Works:
The crucible melting furnace operates by heating the metal contained in a crucible using either electric resistance heating or fuel-fired systems. The furnace's design includes high-quality insulation to minimize thermal losses, ensuring efficient melting. The molten metal is monitored through a thermocouple for accurate temperature control. Once the desired temperature is reached, the metal can be tapped out using a hydraulic tilting mechanism or direct bale-out method, allowing for seamless operation and high productivity.
